What Is Therapy Like With Us?

Guiding You On the Path of Self-Healing

It could be that you feel anxious or are battling depression; or perhaps you feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to live or you are unsure about your future or relationships. Perhaps you have endured trauma or are in a transitional period. I am here to support you in whatever challenges you are facing. 

* Through counseling, we believe that we can heal our deepest wounds, change negative thought processes, and ultimately achieve our goals

* When we are able to express ourselves, understand our feelings and behaviors, and develop methods to cope, we are able to finally thrive in our environment 

* We believe that it is important for you to not only explore who you are as a result of your past, but also through your present emotions and future vision. 

* A huge part of counseling is not only resolution of past issues, but setting short and long term goals together. That means that you will be an active participant in your therapy, and our sessions are geared towards the changes you want. My clients are challenged to reflect and to master new skills.

Our therapists have specialized clinical training in treating trauma and stress- related disorders, anxiety, depression, sexual assault, prenatal depression, LGBTQ clients and stress management. Guided Path's clinicians have been extensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfullness Based Therapy as well as other techniques. Our techniques are specifically tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.
